Fifth WHO Global Forum on Medical Devices: report, 2-5 June 2025

Overview

This report provides an overview of the Fifth WHO Global Forum on Medical Devices held from June 2 to 5, 2025, in Geneva, Switzerland through a virtual format to promote broad participation. Organized by the WHO Medical Devices and in vitro diagnostics (MDD) team, the forum featured dynamic discussions and productive exchanges. The event fostered global coordination, partnerships, and collective actions related to medical devices—used across all levels of healthcare for screening, diagnosis, treatment, palliation, and assistance through 14 sessions and 5 side events, interactive participation from the audience, and networking opportunities.
